Patient Physical Exams
-
DOT Physicals
We help keep drivers safe by making sure they can safely perform the physical demands of the job. Drivers must meet all DOT physical requirements before receiving their commercial driver’s license. Concentra clinicians are certified by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and are specially trained to understand DOT regulations.
-
Immigration Examinations
Immigration exams ensure that immigrants applying for permanent residency meet the requirements of the Department of Homeland Security. Concentra immigration exams are conducted by designated civil surgeons.
-
School, Sports & Camp Exams
Our school, sports, and camp physicals help to keep your child safe by making sure that they can meet the physical demands of sports, school, and camp activities.
-
Police and Firefighter Exams
Given the hazards police officers and firefighters can encounter every day, special physical examinations are often required. These physical exam requirements are usually more complex and comprehensive.
-
Post Injury Exams
A return-to-work physical checks to see if you’re ready to return to work, or if more treatment time is required, to reduce the future risk of getting hurt again.
-
Pre-Employment Exams
If you’re offered a job that has physical requirements, you may have to complete a pre-placement test. Also known as Human Performance Evaluations (HPEs), they make sure you can safely perform the specific job.

GET YOUR PHYSICAL
You can start the process by contacting the Concentra medical center closest to you. You may be able to schedule an appointment in advance, and confirm a certified clinician will be available for your exam. Due to the complexity and time requirements of some exams, only certain physical exams may be available on select days or times.
