Infectious Disease Services
Depending on their employment and job duties, some employees are at risk for infectious diseases such as tuberculosis (TB), hepatitis (A, B, or C), HIV, rabies, herpes B, meningitis, and other diseases. This risk may be even greater for employees who travel overseas and could be at risk of acquiring diseases not found in the United States.
While using proper personal protective equipment on the job and offering vaccines may prevent many of these diseases, screening and testing for infectious diseases also play a key role.
