Concentra and One Call Care Management Offer New Transportation Service

ADDISON, Texas — June 8, 2017 — Concentra, the nation’s largest provider of occupational medicine, announced today it has entered into an agreement with One Call Care Management (“One Call”) to provide innovative and efficient transportation to connect injured workers to Concentra medical centers in their area. By utilizing One Call’s Relay Transportation solution, a web-based desktop application, Concentra medical centers will be able to request on-demand transportation for injured employees.

Through this new agreement with One Call, Concentra’s transportation solution arranges scheduled and real-time rides to and from nearby Concentra medical centers for injured employees. This innovative platform enables operators at Concentra medical centers across the country to request rides for injured employees who seek treatment from Concentra. This service can be used to transport any employee following an on-the-job injury, at no additional cost.

With Concentra centers present in more than 90 markets across the country, more than 177 million employees will be able to access rides to trusted medical care when they need it most. Concentra’s transportation solution includes convenient curbside pick-up and drop-off, an average wait time of less than three minutes, and access to rides 24 hours a day. Rides are provided by well-known and familiar ride-sharing services (e.g., Lyft), as well as One Call’s proprietary transportation network. This network ensures participating drivers are optimally credentialed and insured.
