Concentra Acquires I&O Medical Centers in Virginia

ADDISON, Texas — February 26, 2024 — Concentra®, the nation’s leader in occupational medicine, today announced the acquisition of the assets of I&O Medical Centers in Virginia.

• I&O Medical Center at 593 Aberdeen Road, Hampton, Virginia 23661 will become Concentra Hampton.
• I&O Medical Center at 838-A Old George Washington Highway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23323 will become Concentra Chesapeake Old George Washington.
• I&O Medical Center at 704 Thimble Shoals Boulevard, Suite 200, Newport News, Virginia 23606 will close and merge with Concentra Newport News at 803 Diligence Drive, Newport News, Virginia 23606.
• I&O Medical Center at 1290 Diamond Springs Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23455 will close and merge with Concentra Norfolk Airport at 5301 Robin Hood Road, Suite 114, Norfolk, Virginia 23513.

Work injury care and other employer-related health services will continue to be provided at Concentra Hampton and Concentra Chesapeake Old George Washington. Concentra Newport News and Concentra Norfolk Airport will provide services for the merged centers.
