Concentra Acquires Nevada Occupational Health & Injury Care Center in Carson City, Nevada
ADDISON, Texas — November 8, 2021 — Concentra®, the nation’s leader in occupational medicine, today announced the acquisition of Nevada Occupational Health & Injury Care Center (NVOHC) at 3488 Goni Road, Suite 141, Carson City, Nevada 89706. The new name is Concentra Carson City.
Work injury care, physical therapy, and other employer-related health services will continue to be provided at Concentra Carson City. In addition to these services, complimentary transportation will be available for all injury-related visits to the medical center.
“This acquisition will enable Concentra to provide Nevada employers with additional access to care, but just as importantly, it’s something of a homecoming,” said Scott Cole, MD, vice president of Concentra medical operations. “NVOHC and Dr. Betz were part of Concentra some years ago, and we’re excited to welcome NVOHC and Dr. Betz back to our family of medical centers.”
