Concentra Colleague Spotlight: Keitha Clayton
Concentra’s values – a healing focus, a selfless heart, a tireless resolve – are the core of our commitment to the patient experience. We’re celebrating those colleagues who live out these values every day.
Since April is Occupational Therapy Month, we’re putting the spotlight on one of Concentra’s best – Keitha Clayton, an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist in San Antonio, Texas.
Originally from Amarillo, Texas, Keitha received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in occupational therapy from Texas Tech University. Her love for treating difficult hand and upper extremity injuries led her to obtain a board certification in Hand Therapy in 2004. In her almost 20 years with Concentra, Keitha has never met a task too big. Keitha is very involved in the day-to-day operations of our VIA Transit onsite health center in San Antonio, supervising certified occupational therapy assistants at the onsite, and treating upper extremity patients at the local center.
Keitha uses her knowledge and passion to ensure each patient has an exceptional experience, helping them regain full function of their hands and upper extremities with the compassion and one-on-one care they deserve. She extends the same passion to helping her colleagues, whether she’s creating and implementing tools to make their jobs more efficient or working alongside them to help develop the best care plans for patients. With every job, Keitha brings her positivity, confidence, and kindness.
On top of her regular responsibilities, Keitha serves as the chair of the Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) specialty services group, where she and her team develop resources to guide other markets in starting a hand therapy program. Keitha also maintains a working relationship with Concentra’s Advanced Specialist providers, helping to ensure excellent communication and positive patient outcomes.
Outside of work, Keitha enjoys spending time with her family and helping various local charities. She is immensely involved in her daughter’s soccer career, often hosting team dinners and helping with team events.
Keitha embodies Concentra’s values every day: she’s passionate about providing optimum care to her patients, putting others before herself, and tirelessly working to ensure that both her patients and colleagues are taken care of. Thank you for your incredible work ethic and kind heart, Keitha – we’re proud to have you as a colleague!
