Concentra Colleague Spotlight: Kathy Kulesa

Haley Bass

Concentra’s values – a healing focus, a selfless heart, a tireless resolve – are the core of our commitment to the patient experience. We’re celebrating those colleagues who live out these values every day.

Since April is Occupational Therapy Month, we’re putting the spotlight on one of Concentra’s best – Kathy Kulesa, an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist in Aurora, Colorado.

Kathy was born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico. After receiving her undergraduate and graduate degrees in occupational therapy from the University of Oklahoma, Kathy continued her training and became a certified hand therapist in 2002. Kathy began her career with another health care company where she developed the hand therapy program for their Colorado market. She joined Concentra in 2007, and currently works full time at the Aurora North center in Colorado.

As much as she loves helping her patients with their physical rehabilitation, Kathy’s true passion is helping patients reach full recovery through their emotional and mental healing. She genuinely cares about her patients’ recovery, and tirelessly works to ensure they get the best care possible. Kathy believes in the power of laughter and shares it every day with her colleagues and her patients.

Along with work, Kathy enjoys traveling and camping with her husband, Rich, and their three children. The Kulesa family includes Alysha, in her junior year at Colorado State University; Brandon, starting his freshman year at Arizona State University; Cheyenne, in eighth grade; and Shadow, the family’s black cat.

Kathy is a great representation of Concentra’s values with her patients, her colleagues, and her family. We’re grateful that Kathy goes the extra mile every day to provide a phenomenal patient experience. Thank you for everything you do, Kathy!
