MEDICAL ASSISTANT PROGRAM

Education in a clinical setting

Medical Assistants

Concentra’s Medical Assistant Program provides students with hands-on training in various administrative, and clinical duties in an outpatient care setting.

    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As a medical assistant student, you will be trained to perform various front desk and clinical duties under the supervision of a physician or other licensed health care professional. Duties may include:

    • Performing ancillary testing and tasks (e.g., vaccinations, phlebotomies, pulmonary function tests, audiograms, etc.) as ordered by a treating clinician
    • Conducting DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing

“Everyone was more than willing to answer any
questions and go into great detail to make sure I
understood every job function. The team made
me feel as though I was part of the team when I
    was just a student.”
