The Special Projects Representative (SPR) will focus on strategically important, non-routine sales and sales-related initiatives by executing and completing projects from start to finish.
These special projects may include but are not limited to targeted sales pilots, customer outreach and research, de novo center openings, center acquisitions, cross-selling campaigns, process or technology optimization and innovation, strategic partnership engagement, or internal enablement efforts. The role will be expected to pivot quickly, work with ambiguity, leverage technology and data, engage customers telephonically and digitally, and deliver measurable results alongside core sales. Success in the role will be measured by various key performance indicators (KPIs) such as project completion within deadlines, stakeholder satisfaction, and overall project impact on the business. This position will report to the Manager, Special Projects.

- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., Revenue Operations, Sales Channel Leadership, Marketing) to scope, plan, and execute on special sales initiatives and strategic pilots and/or customer engagements. - Act as the execution arm for new sales strategies, programs, or test campaigns that dont fit cleanly into existing pipelines. - Own and potentially lead smaller sub-projects (e.g., new vertical launch, upsell pilot, territory expansion, focus centers, sales enablement rollouts). - Engage directly with prospects and customers with special sales initiatives as a source for revenue maximization and capture. - Leverage CRM, sales enablement tools, data analytics, and automation platforms to monitor progress, gather insights, provide feedback loops, and report results. - Provide input and feedback on tool enhancements, processes, and strategy based on frontline execution experience. - Be responsive to shifting priorities: when a new urgent project emerges, pivot quickly and reallocate effort. - Serve as a bridge or liaison between the sales organization and central teams when projects cross functional boundaries. - Assist with training, coaching, or pilot rollouts of new sales methodologies or tools across the broader team. - Capture lessons learned, build repeatable processes/templates, and contribute to continuous improvement of the special projects funnel.
- Some college courses from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience - In lieu of higher education, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa - Bachelor's degree preferred - Customarily has at least one (1) year of sales experience to include experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) system - Inbound/outbound sales experience a plus - Remote work environment experience a plus - Experience in occupational health care or workers compensation industry is a bonus - Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative and Flexibility - Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions - Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism - The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies - Experience in a sales or revenue-generating role (or equivalent) - Demonstrable success in projects or initiatives beyond business as usual - Comfortable working with ambiguous scope, rolling up your sleeves, and figuring things out. - Strong technology fluency comfortable using (or learning) CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales enablement tools, analytics / BI tools, automation platforms. - Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights. - Strong verbal & written communication skills; ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. - Highly coachable, receptive to feedback, with a growth mindset - Ability to take direction, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and prioritize effectively. - Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally. - Self-starter with high work ethic, initiative, agility, and a bias toward action.
