Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends

We are seeking a highly experienced and mission-driven Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at our client's onsite Employee Health / Occupational Medicine practice. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as an NP/PA within an urgent care, emergency medicine, and/or family medicine setting. Experience within an occupational medicine setting is a plus. Scope of practice includes treating work-related injuries and managing follow-up care, coordinating wellness and safety initiatives, minor first aid, employment physicals and screenings, and maintaining OSHA compliance.

Spends 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
Ensures day-to-day execution of Concentra's clinical model collaborating with members of the healthcare team to drive optimal clinical outcomes.
Accountable for monitoring, understanding, and effecting key onsite clinic metrics that relate to quality outcomes.Advanced Primary Care - chronic condition management, gaps in care, preventive health and age-appropriate screenings, vaccinations, SDOH, wellness initiatives, clinic utilization and patient satisfaction.Occupational Medicine - timely return to work measures after an injury on the job, case duration, lost time, work duty status, reduction in work-related illnesses and improved functional capacity.
Provides direct patient care through compilation of the medical history, conduction of the physical exam, diagnosis, and the development of appropriate treatment plans.
Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
Maintains timely, accurate and detailed patient records and paperwork.
Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
Listens to and understands internal and external client needs.
Assists in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of clinical care.
Assists in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
Provides excellent and compassionate customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience
Master’s degree in nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current licensed nurse practitioner in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice
Must maintain work state nurse practitioner licensure throughout the course of employment

Customarily has at least three years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or an emergency setting
