Concentra® and Nova Medical Centers

On March 1, 2025, Concentra acquired Nova Medical Centers (Nova), an occupational health services company based in Houston, Texas. This expands Concentra’s footprint to more than 770 occupational health centers and onsite health clinics at employer locations nationwide.

  • 67 Nova Medical Centers will become Concentra centers.

    • More centers. Concentra's expanding footprint makes it easier for customers to get care for their employees. After the transition, Concentra will have additional locations in Texas, Indiana, Georgia, Tennessee, and Wisconsin, all focused on keeping your workforce healthy and productive.
    • More services. Onsite X-ray, physical therapy, and other services will be available in all centers.
    • Telemedicine. Concentra Telemed®, virtual care to treat relatively minor work injuries and illnesses, can be accessed 24/7/365 via computer, tablet, or smartphone.
    • Online treatment authorization and results reporting. Concentra HUB, our customer portal, makes it easier and more convenient to work with Concentra for all your pre-employment and injury care needs.
  • As we go through integration activities in the coming months, we will communicate any changes to the organization, processes, and any impact on your account well in advance so you’ll have no service interruption.

  • You can find Concentra locations using our Location Finder on Concentra.com. We will add Nova locations to Concentra.com upon completion of the integration. In the interim, you can find Nova locations on the Nova website.
  • We are excited to expand and offer services in more markets through this acquisition. Our integration will give employers and their employees more access points with minimal geographical overlap and the enhanced support of a larger combined entity. We do not plan to close any Nova centers at present. 

  • Your information will remain the same immediately following the acquisition. As we look to align and integrate our information systems, we will provide you with updates on any migration to new platforms and necessary login credentials. You should continue to use the same portals and processes to receive information and updates.

  • We anticipate that Concentra and Nova operate on similar, if not the same, networks, and as such, we expect no concerns because of this acquisition. As we move further into integration, we will develop plans and processes for aligning the two organizations for increased efficiencies in the coming months.

  • Following the close of the acquisition, all existing service packages and agreements will remain the same. Concentra and Nova have nearly identical service offerings. As we integrate the two organizations further, we will evaluate options and programs and provide updates and communication regarding any changes to your account.

  • Following the completion of the acquisition, business will continue as usual. Customers should see no immediate changes or interruption of service in the foreseeable future.   • In the immediate future, you should continue to engage with your primary point of contact. However, as we go through integration activities in the coming months, your point of contact may change to ensure the best service for your account in the future.   • Immediately upon the acquisition's close, business will continue as usual. In the near term, we will implement changes to integrate both companies under one system, leading to one payment system for both organizations. As changes are implemented to billing systems, we will provide you with information and updates to ensure that you continue to receive the best service and see no interruption in service.

  • There is not one main number at present. Customers will continue to use their existing contact information for the Nova or Concentra billing offices, respectively. As we move further into integration and align processes and programs, we will update and communicate to customers about any changes that may impact their account or service.

  • You may continue to receive communications from both Concentra and Nova. As part of the transition, we will work to align our customer platforms to reduce duplicate mailings or outreach and ensure that customers receive information from just one provider.
