The Vice President, Compliance Officer will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of Concentra's Compliance Program and Audit Work Plan. Additional responsibilities will include meeting the requirements of the Compliance and Audit Committee and the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors, which committee shall have input into the Compliance Officer’s annual performance review.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, oversee, and monitor a comprehensive Compliance Program.
  • Report on a regular basis to the Compliance and Audit Committee on the progress of the company’s Compliance Program.
  • Ensure all Compliance Incidents Reports are communicated appropriately to the Compliance Committee for review
  • Oversee the development and monitoring of annual plan for employee education and training in relevant aspects of compliance.
  • Responsible for compliance policy and procedure development and implementation.
  • Create and monitor system for handling both internal and external compliance inquiries.
  • Instill a strong compliance ethic throughout the organization.
  • Responsible for Compliance and Audit Services Department budget and staff
  • Identify potential areas of risk and vulnerability for the company
  • Maintain a working knowledge of relevant issues, laws and regulations pertaining to regulatory compliance and the auditing profession.
  • Any other duties identified by the Compliance and Audit Committee and the Audit and Compliance Committee of the BOD and/or the CEO.

Qualifications

Education Details:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Accounting preferred
  • Master’s degree or Law degree preferred

Job-Related Experience

  • 10 - 15 years of experience in healthcare, audit or compliance
  • 7 - 10 or more years of managerial experience
  • 7 - 10 or more years of public company SOX experience
