Overview

The Clinical Analytics Director is responsible for accessing, understanding, and interpreting outcomes data from Concentra’s practice management and EMR systems to support clinical decision making and quality initiatives. In addition, the Director identifies trends, cause and effect relationships, and data anomaly investigation, leading to developing solutions to improve customer and Concentra service synergies. This leader will work with technical, operational business unit leaders, executive management, and sales/clients directly; therefore, the candidate must be able to understand and apply business concepts and processes relevant to the Healthcare/Workers’ Compensation arena.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic departmental plan to target and align with company initiatives as related to clinical outcomes, best practices and Concentra’s value proposition for Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Onsite and TeleMedicine business lines
  • Created dashboards highlighting key metrics/indicators driving clinical outcomes and clinician practice patterns
  • Serve in an integral role in the development of analysis and clinical outcomes reporting for new business lines, to include but not limited to Urgent Care, Primary Care, Onsite and TeleMedicine
  • Serve as analytical expert for data across multiple business lines
  • Provide leadership, direction, and development to staff to promote professional growth and to upgrade departmental talent
  • Ensure data integrity, accurate interpretation of outcomes and timely delivery of all products to provide effective solutions to support client issues or needs
  • Maximize productivity and reporting efficiencies through effective identification of resource needs to align with business objectives and developed technical solutions to offset resource deficiencies
  • Initiate and manage projects, reporting and analysis to align with Concentra Management and Operational goals
  • Monitor and research healthcare trends and benchmarks to maintain industry competitiveness and intelligence

Qualifications

Education/credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Planning, Health Administration, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or Statistics from an accredited college/university
  • Advanced degree, Masters or Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health, Health Planning, Health Administration, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred

 

Job-related experience

  • Customarily has at least seven or more years hands on coaching/management experience in an analytical and data driven environment
