The role of the National Director of Radiology Operations is to oversee, develop and direct operational plans and activities to ensure the success of Concentra’s Radiology Department on a national level. The National Director of Radiology Operations will work collaboratively with all members of Concentra’s management and business units to ensure the highest level of customer service and a continuation of high-quality radiology operations.


• Responsible for ensuring radiology compliance and credentialing with all local, state and federal regulations and requirements across all of Concentra business units
• Ensure a safe and high-quality radiography service is delivered consistently throughout the organization
• Responsible for development of on-boarding, orientation and continued education materials related to radiology
• Implement and assist in ongoing field compliance with operational policies, procedures and training programs related to radiology
• Oversees three Regional Radiology Managers and provide regular coaching & feedback to improve colleague performance
• Assess radiology processes and workflows to continuously improve the patient experience
• Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of a field-based equipment tracking tool
• Maintain regular and ongoing communication with Regional and Senior leadership teams to ensure effective management and development of both new and existing radiology programs
• Serve as subject matter expert and resource as it relates to all radiology concerns and equipment
• Determines, enforces and monitors all radiology measurements and reporting required in the field.
• Assist in determining and creating effective metrics and methods in which to report these metrics that are meaningful to field operations; provides analysis and report on radiology department quality indicators
• Assist regional teams in assessing equipment needs/preferences and collaborating on necessary budgeting and/or ROI studies
• Oversee vendor negotiations/on-going relationships for radiology services
• Drive and advises on up to date technology in regard to equipment and services. Interface with IT
in regard to digital equipment and appropriate support
• Drive and/or oversee all projects/programs related to radiology

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
• Valid and current license by the state in which employed
• Valid and current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have valid and current registration with an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency
• Advanced degree preferred

• Customarily has 2 or more years of experience in routine diagnostic imaging, and familiarity with routine medical procedures
• Customarily has 5 or more years of leadership and/or management experience in the health care industry
• Prior experience with Concentra Medical Centers preferred
• Multi-site medical facility supervisory experience preferred
