The Manager, Corporate Applications - Oracle EBS is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and supporting corporate applications within the organization. This role ensures that corporate applications are aligned with business objectives, delivering reliable and efficient solutions.   • Lead and manage the Corporate Applications team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, guiding the team in adopting innovative solutions and maintaining technical excellence.
  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle EBS modules and supporting corporate applications.
  • Ensure the system's reliability, performance, and scalability to support business needs.
  • Manage upgrades, patches, and customizations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects related to Oracle EBS and other corporate applications.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.Mentor and coach junior developers, helping them grow their technical skills.
  • Work closely with business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the Oracle EBS system.
  • Conduct regular system audits and assessments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide high-level support for Oracle EBS and supporting coporate applications, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain robust incident management and escalation processes.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure that Oracle EBS applications comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree; Master's degree a plus

Major: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration

Job-Related Experience

  • Customarily has at least the following experience: 8 years
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS modules (such as Financials, HRMS, Supply Chain) and their integration.
  • Stroing knowledge of HR, Financial, Tax, and and other applications that support and integrate with EBS.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle EBS certification, PMP) are a plus.
