The Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of our data warehouse solutions. Requires a deep understanding of data warehousing best practices and architecture The architect will have a proven track record of successfully delivering data warehouse projects. The Data Warehouse Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, data analysist, business intelligence teams, and data scientists to ensure that our data warehouse solutions meet business requirements and are scalable, reliable, and efficient.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex data warehousing solutions using industry-standard methodologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop data models both tabular and OLAP, ETL frameworks, and data transformation procedures to ensure efficient data processing and storage
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the data warehouse environment
  • Monitor data quality and accuracy and implement corrective measures as necessary
  • Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data loading and processing performance
  • Perform data analysis and provide recommendations for improvements to data architecture
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data flow diagrams
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data warehouse development team
  • Ensure all changes comply with change management policies and procedure

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent is required
  • In lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa


JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years hands on experience of experience in designing, developing and implementing data warehousing and data architecture solutions.
  • 5+ years' experience with industry standard ETL/ELT tools including SSIS, Data Factory, and Glue.
  • 5+ years hands on experience working with SQL.DAX and MDX
  • 5+ years' experience designing and implementing data marts, tabular and OLAP data models.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with cloud platform such as Azure and AWS.
  • Knowledgeable of DevOps and Git
