The .Net Software Development Analyst I is responsible for the review, analysis, and modification of programming systems. The responsibilities include ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications, as well as, the coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of programs, as it pertains to new and existing systems. Provide accurate and timely completion of technical development and support tasks in accordance with Information Systems standards and methodologies, as well as requirements defined by Concentra technology standards.

Responsibilities
  • Address daily support requests received Develop software tasks in accordance with Information System standards and methodologies
  • Provide second level assessment, support and resolution of issues including root cause
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the production support team and Service Now
  • Collect appropriate and accurate information on all production issues
  • Help maintain, improve, and develop EDI processes
  • Maintain current and accurate data throughout the lifecycle of a ticket
  • Use monitoring tools to properly diagnose system or application issues or downtime
  • Monitor overall performance of IS operations and continually implement improvements
  • Investigate issues/reported bugs, identify the cause, analyze impact, and provide best possible solution
  • Respond to and resolve user technical support issues via telephone, email, and remote access software
  • Participate in system roll outs with client clinical and IS staff, and complete delegated tasks to meet deadlines
  • Establish SLA's for response time to events and incidents
  • Document customer interactions in Service Now
  • Work flexible schedule as needed

Qualifications

Education/Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar field from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience
  • In lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa

Job-related Experience

  • Customarily has at least 3 or more years of software development, production support or operational support
  • Customarily has at least 2 or more years of .NET development and maintenance/support experience
  • Experience to include:
    • .NET, HTML, JavaScript, SQL
    • Operating systems such as Windows and OS X
  • Prefer experience with:
    • Microsoft productivity applications
    • Browser-based technology
  • Experience in Business Process Improvement, Problem Management/Preventive maintenance
