The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the accounting activities and reporting for our business units, assisting in the daily application of technical accounting pronouncements, process improvement and financial consolidation.   This position will report directly to the Senior Manager, Business Unit Accounting. They will ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by putting all customers (internal and external) first and displaying:

  • Perform and coordinate monthly accounting, close processes and financial reporting for business units
  • Prepare business combination support including technical accounting research, joint venture accounting and legal consolidations
  • Ensure compliance with current accounting pronouncements and procedures
  • Assist in development of process improvement and compliance projects
  • Represent the accounting and finance teams in cross functional process improvement projects
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the accounting processes


  • Ability to assist in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Self-starter with an infectious personality and strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a challenging, complex financial reporting environment
  • Strong work paper presentation and detail to support an audit trail
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced structured corporate environment
  • Proven ability to take ownership and drive results
  • Mid-level to advanced Excel skills required
  • Oracle or other ERP experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity and a team player
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated individual
  • 3-5+ years’ experience full cycle month end close process with some of that experience in financial reporting, implementation of accounting pronouncements,  account reconciliation and variance analysis
  • Position requires confidentiality requiring secure information management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA designation or candidate in process a preferred
  • Public accounting experience in audit a plus
