The Senior Accountant will be responsible for using experience and judgment in a complex environment under general supervision on accounting activities and reporting for the healthcare revenue cycle.  This position will report directly to the Director of Revenue Cycle Accounting. They will ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by putting all customers (internal and external) first and displaying:

  • Completes a full revenue cycle accounting close process for assigned portfolios
  • Performs general ledger maintenance, financial statement analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, accrual accounting
  • Assists Director with implementation of internal controls and process improvement
  • Analyzes, summarizes and documents changes in portfolios monthly and quarterly
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain support as necessary
  • Perform, assess and analyze account reconciliations
  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Other assignments as given


  • Ability to assist in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management
  • Experience in a challenging, complex financial reporting environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced structured corporate environment
  • Proven ability to communicate in a teamwork environment and with all levels of management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Mid-level to advanced Excel skills required
  • Oracle or other ERP experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task
  • 5+ years’ experience full cycle month end close process with some of that experience in revenue cycle management, account reconciliation and variance analysis
  • Position requires confidentiality requiring secure information management
  • Understanding of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition a plus
  • CPA preferred
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
