Accounting Manager (Hybrid)
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director, Revenue Cycle, the Manager is primarily responsible for the preparation, review and delivery of timely financials as well as assisting with the annual compliance and audit activities. The candidate must be a leader, be detail oriented and be hands-on. They will ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by putting all customers (internal and external) first and displaying:

- Perform monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions
- Ensure compliance with current accounting processes and procedures
- Assist with technical accounting issues
- Identify opportunities to streamline the accounting processes
- Support Director in financial audits by liaising with internal and external auditors
- Supervise, develop, and retain professional accounting staff
Education/Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience
Job-related Experience
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience required with 2 years of those supervising others
- 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred
Job-related Skills/Competencies
- CPA in good standing, strongly preferred
- Possess high integrity, ethics, and work standard - ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a demanding detailed-oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Self-motivated, time efficient and proactive with ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with department staff, supervisory personnel, and associates in the field
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite and Hyperion tools (HFM, Smartview, Essbase)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
