Schedule: M-F; 2p-close (center closes at 10pm)
The X-Ray Limited Scope Technician & Medical Support Specialist conducts routine x-ray and medical procedures following Concentra's guidelines and under direct clinician supervision. Additionally, the MSS helps in various areas of the facility as required. This position demands efficient one-on-one patient care within a fast-paced environment, guaranteeing top-quality service delivery and fostering a positive patient experience.

X-Ray Technician Duties
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout.
- Operate radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images, adhering to established protocols.
- Implement radiation safety measures and utilize protective devices for patients and team members.
- Maintain functionality of radiologic equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions.
- Ensure adherence to Radiology workflows, accurate documentation, and proper equipment maintenance.
- Maintains MRI, CT, Radiologic Technology equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of exam rooms.
Medical Support Specialist Duties
- Conduct DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Perform rapid screening tests for various conditions.
- Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Perform routine medical procedures and triage emergent patients.
- Dispense medications, apply bandages, dressings, and splints.
- Perform clerical tasks, ensure accurate documentation, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications
- Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of a program at an accredited school of Limited Scope Technician, accompanied by state-required certification.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid.
Job-Related Experience
- Customarily has at least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology
- Customarily has at least six months of demonstrated experience in X-Ray and familiarity with routine medical procedures
- Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred with prior medical office, healthcare and/or customer service-related experience.

- Must participate in initial and ongoing training as required
- Obtain all certifications required of Medical Support Specialists including but not limited to Drug Screen Collection, Breath Alcohol Certification, Hair and Oral Fluids Collection
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook and entry of data into various systems/applications
