WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:

  • Outpatient clinic environment 
  • Northside Jacksonville location
  • Monday - Friday, full time
  • 8am-5pm
  • No nights or weekends required
  • Occupational Medicine focused with Urgent Care services offered
  • Work alongside full time physician and robust support staff
  • Utilize Allscripts Touchworks EMR
  • Collaborate with OnSite Physical Therapy department

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

Minimum of 2 + years experience required in the field of: occupational medicine, urgent care, orthopedics or an emergency medicine setting.  

  • Active and unrestricted Florida license
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or FNP program of an accredited university
  • Board Certification
  • Proficient with treatment of minor injuries
  • Experienced with interpretation of xray images and evaluation of musculoskeletal injuries
  • Comfortable treating a patient demographic ages 2 and older
  • Must be able to be successfully credentialed with all payors, including Medicare (opt out or ineligibility does not meet credentialing requirements) as we accept all forms of insurance
  • Required prior to start date:
    • FMCSA NRCME:  If not already certified, we provide this CME for you
    • Florida DEA & dispensing license:  this is a pre-employment requirement
