Overview

The Lead Development Representative Manager will be responsible for managing a team of lead development representatives (LDRs). This position is remote as the lead development representative position is remote.  This individual will need to be effective with managing a team remotely and is responsible to grow LDR organization as well as achieve specified outcomes and goals. Ideal candidates will have telephonic sales experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct multiple Lead Development Representatives to ensure they achieve assigned metric targets within the prospecting segment of the sales process. Metric targets include, but is not limited to, lead vetting, calls completed, appointments scheduled, and appointment show rate with prospects.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate performance and execution. Serve as a coach and trainer to the LDR team to ensure that each team member has the proper skills and knowledge to perform at the highest level. Personally, participate in continuing education and training programs on company products, services, industry standards and compliance.
  • Ensure LDR processes are executed effectively, consistently and evaluated regularly for continuous improvement
  • Monitor and hold LDRs accountable to activity-based metrics and ensure quality outcomes
  • Track team metrics with periodical reviews weekly, monthly, quarterly, keep records and generate reports on all phases of activities
  • Coach, develop and deliver structured training on best practice sales skills, product knowledge and market guidelines to your team
  • Work jointly with field sales to strategize and build their sales pipeline
  • Participate in the recruitment and retention of LDRs utilizing Concentra Training Guidelines. Conduct Interviews, Hiring, Coaching, Counseling and Disciplinary Actions according to established policies and procedures in conjunction with the Human Resources Department)

Qualifications

Education/credentials/Work experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in telephonic sales.
  • 5+ years of sales related experience.
  • 2-4 years sales management experience. Managing remotely is preferred.
  • Experience in occupational health care or workers’ compensation industry is a bonus.

  • Display self-discipline/self-starter and focus to effectively manage and prioritize an intense and high-volume business
  • Ability to lead a team effectively with successful experience in conflict resolution, team building, interpersonal relationships, mentoring and motivating colleagues

  • Knows how to leverage sales automation and tools to streamline efforts
  • Excellent systems skills including CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and customer information databases

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially telephonic communication
  • Flexibility in moving between diverse job tasks
  • Strategic thinking skills: critical thinking is a must when identifying customer concerns, revenue maximization opportunities, and customer solutions.
  • Ability to effectively resolve difficult disputes and business challenges using highly refined functional, partnering and leadership skills
  • Possesses an outstandingly warm, positive, energetic and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive performance expectations
