AdvancePierre Foods (APF), a quality food service distributor, announced today it has selected Concentra to operate two additional worksite medical centers at APF locations in Enid, Okla. and Claremont, NC. The goal of the new medical centers is to improve access to quality occupational health services, while promoting preventive and well patient programs existing in other APF benefit programs.

Concentra already operates a worksite center for APF employees at its center in Portland, Maine; these two new occupational health centers will extend access for employees in separate locations. The centers will offer occupational medicine services, as well as employment screening services. APF selected Concentra as its provider because of its innovative health services offering, its proven ability to bring quality medical services to the workplace, its cost-effective solutions, and wide reach to care for the health needs of more than 3,000 employees.

“Working with APF gives us a great opportunity to deliver a strong worksite occupational health program to meet their comprehensive needs,” said Darla Walls, vice president of Concentra’s Worksite Solutions division. “Our effective workplace solutions aid in employee access to quality care, improve productivity as well as offer better cost control for employers. By improving the health and well-being of APF employees, we help to enhance the lives and livelihood of America’s future.”

Each worksite medical facility is open during regular business hours. APF employees can also access any of Concentra’s 320 community-based medical centers across the country for additional health care services, helping to strengthen the continuity of care. Through this arrangement, APF management enjoys a cost-effective solution that offers benefits to both employer and employees.

By listening to employers, caring for employees, developing efficient systems, and delivering outcomes-based clinical practices, Concentra has become a leading provider of worksite employee health services for employers in dozens of different industries. With more than 320 national medical centers and 270 worksite medical clinics, Concentra serves more than 100,000 employers across the nation and treats more than 30,000 patients each day.
