Engaging employees in their own health
Employee participation and engagement in an on-site medical clinic makes a worksite program successful. During the implementation of each worksite employee health center, Concentra works with the employer to develop a communication strategy to support employee engagement in their own health. We incorporate the following methods:
- Awareness - Using a variety of communication tactics, Concentra helps clients maximize worksite clinic utilization and awareness through key messages to the employee population.
- Clinical Outreach - Based on biometric screening and claims data, we determine at-risk employees and strive to encourage periodic use of the employer's worksite health services.
- Health Promotion - We provide customizable program content to build awareness and reinforce utilization of the employee health center. Promotional pieces can include posters, flyers, employee e-mails, open house invitations, and other outbound communications.
By promoting preventive health and wellness initiatives, these supporting elements will help to increase employee awareness about center events and information for the on-site clinic.
