Injuries We Treat

Back to life faster

At Concentra your treatment is provided by a licensed therapist, not an aide or technician. You come to us for our expertise, and we place you in the care of experts.

Concentra physical therapists treat:

  • Trauma
  • Repetitive use and over-exertion injuries, including wrist, back, shoulder, knees, and ankles
  • Pain and functional limitations caused by medical or chronic injuries
  • Orthopedic and hand/upper-extremity injuries

Our physical therapy practice does not serve the following types of patients:

  • Geriatric patients
  • Stroke victims
  • Pediatric patients

If you are in doubt about your injury and whether we can accept you as a patient, please call us toll free at 1-888-997-2669 and discuss your situation with our customer service representative.

What makes us special

Concentra Physical Therapy knows you may have multiple physical therapists to choose from when you need care. We also know that you look for service differentiators – what makes one provider unique from the next – to help you make your decision. Here are our differentiators:

  • PTs, not techs — At Concentra, you'll receive hands-on therapy from experienced, credentialed physical therapists (PTs), not technicians. We believe this approach helps you to understand the benefits of therapy, learn how to prevent re-injury, stay motivated to return to normal activity, and shorten your recovery time.
  • Administrative support — Concentra's full-time administrative support staff handles scheduling, insurance, and other time-consuming tasks that can make it difficult to get to a therapist promptly, focus on getting better, and following through on your therapy treatments.
  • Home Recovery plan — You'll be able to practice our proven techniques at home because we do not use a "machine only" approach. Our PTs emphasize a practical, hands-on approach that teaches you to perform therapy exercises at home, with regular "check-ins" with your PT. This innovative approach minimizes office visits, saves your out-of-pocket costs, and still monitors your return to productivity.
  • MD/PT communication — We want to work closely with your doctor on your care. We'll schedule consultations between your PT and your physician to focus on your specific needs. This collegial approach has a proven impact on fast and effective outcomes.
