Keys to finding a physical therapist
Concentra knows that, when you've been injured and are in pain, you want the right treatment right away. But choosing the right provider from among the dozens or even hundreds of physical therapists in your area can be stressful and even overwhelming.
We therefore suggest you consider these five keys when you make your selection:
- A physical therapist's experience/education
- The amount of time you'll spend with the physical therapist
- The variety of techniques used by the therapist; for example, how much can you do at home?
- The therapist's commitment to working with your referring physician
- The support staff who will help you with scheduling appointments and paperwork
We invite you to explore our website for more information on how to make the right choices in physical therapy.
