Physical Examinations for Employees

Every employee offers different strengths and physical capabilities. As an employer, understanding what each of your employees can do--and what they shouldn’t be doing--helps you maintain a safe, productive workplace. And Concentra can help you evaluate and assign different duties to your employees based on their different skillsets.
Types of employee physicals
DOT Physicals. Concentra has performed more than 3 million DOT physical exams since 2011—making us the largest provider in the United States. More than 1,200 Concentra clinicians are certified medical examiners (CME) listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME). There’s at least one CME in every Concentra market.
Pre-Placement Physicals. Our most common pre-placement physical exam is the Human Performance Evaluation (HPE). All of our pre-placement physicals comply with all ADA testing requirements and regulations.
Regulatory and Pre-Employment Drug Screenings. Concentra DOT employee drug screenings help you comply with regulatory guidelines set by the Department of Transportation.
