Concentra maintains a fleet of mobile units with up-to-date equipment that allows us to bring quality health care directly to the workplace on an as-needed basis. Our mobile services are particularly useful when a company needs to manage an employee-wide medical requirement, such as government-required testing or wellness care services.
Concentra Mobile Medical Services offer a cost-effective alternative for customers who demand convenience, volume medical care, and minimal employee down time. By bringing the medical equipment and a testing facility to the employer’s workplace, Concentra’s Mobile Service saves time (all employees can be seen at once and on any shift schedule) and money (employees do not have to leave the busy workplace to be seen). And in the event an employee is absent on the day of the On-Site Mobile unit site visit, he/she can visit any of Concentra’s 320-plus occupational centers to fulfill the requirement.
Our mobile medical units are equipped to conveniently provide a wide range of testing and monitoring services, including:
- Vision and hearing tests
- Physical examinations
- Chest X-rays
- Electrocardiograms (EKG)
- Pre-employment or random drug screens
- Bio-monitoring
- Respiratory fit testing
- Pulmonary function
- Laboratory testing for lead, ZPP, SMAC, etc.
- Certain inoculations, vaccinations, and immunizations
