Opportunities for Physicians
Physician reviewers with Concentra
Dear Physicians:
Welcome to Concentra's opportunities web page for Physician Reviewers. This section of our web site provides information for doctors who are interested in becoming physician reviewers with Concentra.
Concentra's Physician Review practice is growing rapidly and offers you a number of advantages and benefits:
- Physicians for physicians. By utilizing a proven medical management model, physicians report and have access to other physicians — not business managers. As national medical director of the physician review service, I in turn provide oversight, quality assurance, and process management assistance to hundreds of physician reviewers.
- Autonomy, resources, income. As a Physician Reviewer, you will have the best of both realms: 1) the freedom to practice medicine and provide reviews based on your education and experience, and 2) access to the resources and educational offerings of an industry leader in workers' compensation and occupational medicine.
Eligibility requirements
To become a member of the Physician Review program, you must
- be Board-certified by the AOA (Bureau of Osteopathic Medical Specialists) and ABMS (American Board of Medical Specialties) if applicable.
- be licensed, with no restrictions on the license
- have any special certificates required by the state in which you practice.
The following reviews and checks will be conducted:
