Concentra-affiliated physicians typically:
- Diagnose and treat acute injuries and illnesses that arise out of the workplace and in everyday life
- Coordinate patient care with Concentra’s Physical Therapists and Medical Specialists to assure the best medical outcomes are achieved
- Perform physical examinations ranging from routine to highly complex medical surveillance exams
- Interact with local and national businesses and industry to retain and grow the center’s business
- Work as a member of the center’s leadership team to ensure the highest level of patient care and client satisfaction
- Coach, train, and cultivate the talents of the center’s associates to support patient care
You’ll also provide occupational health services, such as:
- Interacting with client companies about occupational health, including consulting employers on occupational health and safety issues and disability prevention
- Determining the work-relatedness of disorders
- Providing Medical Directorships to employers
- Serving as a resource to physicians in other specialties
