Concentra Hits Home Run With Urgent Care Centers

On Tuesday August 21, Concentra will sponsor an evening of fun and fitness with the Frisco RoughRiders, launching a new tool in sports injury prevention.
Concentra's Urgent Care Medical Centers have teamed with the Frisco RoughRiders, developing a Sports Injury Prevention handbook packed with tips and treatments commonly associated with athletic activities. The handbook draws upon the near 30 years of medical expertise Concentra has been providing as a leader in on-site and urgent care health services.
"At our Urgent Care centers our physicians treat many sports-related injuries each day. The Sports Injury Prevention handbook blends our medical experience with helpful tips for practical use," said Concentra's Chief Medical Officer, W. Tom Fogarty, M.D.
Deuce, the RoughRiders' mascot and Frisco's favorite prairie dog will be giving away free copies of the handbook to all fans and spectators in attendance at the Dr Pepper Ballpark on Tuesday, August 21, courtesy of Concentra's Urgent Care centers.
