Patient-centered leadership

Since our founding in 1979, Concentra has been dedicated to patient-centered care throughout our operations, which has only been strengthened by our current leadership.

Ted Bucknam

President

Ted Bucknam was named president of Concentra in April 2013, having served as chief operating officer since July 2011. Since joining Concentra in 1995, he has served in key management and operational roles and spearheaded the initiative to improve the patient experience and support the 7,000 colleagues who provide services to more than 25,000 patients each day.

Prior to joining Concentra, he held positions with Medicus Systems Corporation in the areas of investor relations, product management, and sales. Mr. Bucknam earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Bates College and MBA and Master of Health Services Administration degrees from the University of Michigan.

W. Tom Fogarty, MD

Chief Medical Officer, Executive Vice President

Tom Fogarty directs the delivery of medical care for the entire Concentra organization. He offers more than 28 years of experience in occupational medicine. Dr. Fogarty joined the organization in 1983 as a founding member of Concentra's predecessor company.

Within Concentra, he is responsible for overseeing the medical practice, assuring evidence-based health care, and supervising more than 1,200 clinicians. He is also an officer of the Concentra Occupational Health Research Institute, established in 2000.

Dr. Fogarty earned his Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Houston and his medical degree from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He has post-doctoral training in the area of Family Practice.

John deLorimier

Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Executive Vice President

John deLorimier was named chief marketing and sales officer in July 2011, and directs the company's sales and marketing efforts. His responsibilities include all sales activity, such as national accounts and field sales, as well as product development and launch, branding, advertising, public relations, and digital communications.

Mr. deLorimier earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Tech.


John Anderson, DO, FACOEM

Senior Vice President, Medical Operations

John Anderson has been with Concentra since 1993. He oversees the company's occupational medicine practice, has served on the quality oversight committee, and is involved with the company's coding and chart audit initiatives.

Dr. Anderson is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) and board certified in both occupational medicine and health care quality management. He has served as an appointed member of the Michigan Workers' Compensation Advisory Council and Wayne State University's Occupational Medicine Resident Advisory Committee. He is a contributing author and co-editor of the reference textbook: Low Back Pain: An Evidence-Based, Biopsychosocial Model for Clinical Management.

Dr. Anderson is a graduate of John Carroll University and Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Greg Gilbert, MBA, CPAM

Senior Vice President, Reimbursement and Governmental Affairs

Greg Gilbert joined Concentra in 1994 and provides reimbursement, managed care contracting, and pricing management and operational direction for the organization. He is also actively involved in legislative initiatives in various states concerning workers' compensation laws and policies. He has participated in numerous public presentations at workers' compensation public hearings with respect to proposed changes to laws, policies, and fee structures.

Mr. Gilbert earned his Bachelor of Science in health professions from Texas State University and his MBA from the University of Dallas. He is a certified patient account manager (CPAM) through the American Association of Health Care Administrative Management (AAHAM).

John Levene, DPT

National Therapy Director, Senior Vice President

John Levene leads all aspects of Concentra's occupational and physical therapy services, with extensive experience in the development and refinement of our industry-leading physical therapy program.

Mr. Levene is a member of the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) through APTA's program. He is also an adjunct faculty for the School of Physical Therapy at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mr. Levene earned his Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from the College of St Scholastica, his Masters of Science degree in biophysics from the University of Wisconsin, and has more than 27 years experience in physical and occupational therapy.

Bill Lewis, MD, MBA

Senior Vice President, Medical Operations

Bill Lewis oversees medical operations and serves as chair of Concentra medical expert panel on Urgent Care.

Since joining Concentra in 1994, Dr. Lewis has supervised over 120 occupational health facilities, with 350 providers, in a 10-state area. He is currently leading the conversion of pure occupational care facilities to a mixed blend model of urgent care and occupational medicine.

Dr. Lewis is board certified in emergency medicine and is a graduate of Ohio State University, College of Medicine.

Su Zan Nelson, CPA

Chief of Finance, Senior Vice President

Su Zan Nelson is responsible for all facets of Concentra's financial and other statistical reporting, planning and budgeting, capital management, and auditing activities. Before joining the company in late 2001, she provided health care-related financial consultation to several leading corporations.

Ms. Nelson earned her bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a certified public accountant (CPA).

Daryl Risinger

Senior Vice President, Service and Development Management

Daryl Risinger manages the development of Concentra services and products as they move from conception to market launch, including oversight of market research, product definition, development of methods and procedures, testing, and product launch.

Prior to joining Concentra in 2010, Mr. Risinger held management roles in marketing, sales, and implementation at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Tenet health corporation. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University.

Kate Blackmon

Vice President, Primary Care Operations and Integration

Kate Blackmon oversees the operations of Concentra's primary care practice, including the integration of newly acquired medical practices. Ms. Blackmon first joined the organization in 2009 as a medical center operations leader where she led her team through successful center acquisitions and relocations. Before joining Concentra, she served as a leader in talent and operations positions with Accenture, British Telecom Americas, and Ultimate Software. Ms. Blackmon graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in communications.

Dani Kendall, SPHR

Vice President, Human Resources

Dani Kendall leads Concentra's field human resources functions, including the mergers and acquisitions due diligence process, integrity/ethics compliance, communications, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Prior to joining Concentra in 2000, she held human resources management roles in a variety of industries including computer retail (CompUSA), dental management (United Dental Care), and life insurance (Protective Life Insurance).

Ms. Kendall maintains her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Texas Christian University, where she was a lettered athlete in swimming.
