Effective April 1, 2008, Concentra has acquired Trinity Regional Health System's two primary care occupational health centers – doing business as Trinity Work Fitness – in Davenport, Iowa and Moline, Illinois. Commonly referred to as the "Quad Cities," this metropolitan area is a new market for Concentra, which operates other medical centers in Iowa and Illinois.

Callaway Medical Associates, LLP, d/b/a ProMed Minor Emergency Centers (“ProMed”) in the Charlotte, N.C., market, has sold the assets of two occupational health/urgent care centers to Concentra. This acquisition expands Concentra’s geographic footprint to six medical centers in the Charlotte metropolitan area and a total of nine centers in North Carolina.
 
Concentra recently announced that it has acquired the primary care occupational health and urgent care assets of Springfield Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, P.C., d/b/a Springfield Physical Medicine, in Springfield, Mo. Concentra will combine its existing Springfield practice with that of Springfield Physical Medicine to form a new Concentra Medical Centers facility at Springfield Physical Medicine’s location.
 
Concentra has announced the addition of three national experts to lead development of the company’s TotalCare and Urgent Care service lines.
