Effective Monday, February 4, the Concentra Medical Centers location on Dunn Avenue in north Jacksonville, Fla., will move to a larger facility just 0.2 mile east of and across the street from its current location:

Current Location: 1215 Dunn Avenue, Ste. 7, Jacksonville, FL 32218
New Location: 1036 Dunn Avenue, Ste. 10, Jacksonville, FL 32218

The new location will provide three new services: Urgent Care, Physical Therapy, and X-Ray.

The company also announces the hiring of Marc W. Thorpe, M.D., who will serve as Concentra’s Area Medical Director beginning February 4. Dr. Thorpe has served the Jacksonville medical community since 1996. He is Board-certified in Family Practice and earned his medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City.
