Effective December 1, Concentra has acquired the assets of Valley View Medical Clinic, Inc. (Valley View Medical) in La Mirada, Calif., and welcomes former Valley View Medical owner Bill W.B. Yeung, M.D., as a Staff Physician in its Concentra Medical Center in La Palma. Concentra has consolidated the operations of Valley View Medical into its La Palma facility, which is located approximately 1 mile from the Valley View Medical facility.

Serving the southern Los Angeles county community for more than 25 years, Dr. Yeung founded Valley View Medical as one of the first occupational medicine clinics, providing efficient and effective health care services to employees and employers. “Concentra has a long-standing reputation of providing experienced and proven health care services to employers and patients,” said Dr. Yeung, who will continue serving patients in a full-time capacity at Concentra. “By joining the Concentra organization, I am able to provide patients with an expanded health care offering and focus on improving their immediate and long-term health.”

In addition to Dr. Yeung, Concentra has retained many of Valley View Medical’s personnel, building on their tenure with the organization and the long-standing relationships they have established within La Mirada and surrounding communities.
