Concentra has expanded its presence in Norwich, Connecticut, with the acquisition of CONNCare Inc., an occupational health practice that was an affiliate of The William W. Backus Hospital. Effective October 5, 2009, Concentra acquired the assets of the CONNCare practice, and its operations have been consolidated with Concentra’s existing medical center in Norwich.
