Travel Health
What Travel Health is, who it's for
For those planning to travel abroad, Concentra's Travel Health program offers required vaccinations, health and safety information, and other helpful resources. These services are available to individuals who aren’t associated with a company as well as groups of employees who need to travel for business. This program is not offered in every Concentra medical center, so please check with the location(s) in your area. Also, we request that customers make appointments so we can maintain an adequate supply of vaccines in our medical centers.
How we serve you with Travel Health
- After making an appointment with our medical center, you meet with an advisor for health and safety information about your particular destination.
- You get up-to-date travel information based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
- You can purchase a comprehensive international travel kit, which includes needles, syringes, and basic over-the-counter medications (see photo at right).
How you benefit from Travel Health
- Convenience, Time – You don’t have to travel to your local public health office, which is usually located downtown and has restricted operating hours. And most doctor’s offices don’t keep the vaccines because of their cost and special storage needs.
- Personal, Tailored Service – Our travel health advisor talks with you about your travel, tailors the information to your specific plans, and addresses any questions you may have.
- Accurate Information – Since we provide best practices medical information through our nationwide medical network, and web-based travel information from trusted sources, you can be confident that you have the right information for your trip.
