Physical Therapy
Concentra Physical Therapy is available in the majority of our medical center locations. It provides specialized treatment for musculoskeletal injuries, pain and functional limitations, and orthopedic and hand/upper-extremity issues.
Dynamic Early Intervention
Concentra Physical Therapy uses a “Dynamic Early Intervention” model, which emphasizes returning to normal activities rather than just reducing discomfort. This model is comprised of early treatment, early motivation, early education, and self-responsibility. Early intervention has proven its effectiveness for thousands of patients, returning them to normal functioning, to work, and to their life faster.
How We Serve You with Physical Therapy
To achieve our superior results, we perform hands-on, patient-centered rehabilitation services for individuals who need musculoskeletal care by a licensed physical therapist. Here are key components of how our patients are served:
- Our People – Expertise and professionalism define Concentra’s rehabilitative therapists. Concentra employs only licensed therapists – not aides or technicians – in the treatment of patients. On average, our therapists offer 10+ years of clinical experience.
- Our Locations – Concentra Physical Therapy is available at the majority of our more than 300 Concentra Medical Centers facilities nationwide. Concentra centers are located close to work and home, making it easier for your employees to access the facilities, keep appointments, and finish recommended treatments.
- Outcomes – The Concentra dynamic early intervention therapy model focuses on expedited patient recovery and reduced cost of care. This enables our therapists to closely evaluate patient progress and make responsive decisions based on individual cases.
- Scheduling and Customer Care – We reduce the normal time needed to schedule appointments and verify insurance coverage through the use of a centralized scheduling group. Our referral coordinators work with patients to schedule an appointment with a therapist, many times less than 32 hours after visiting a physician.
- Clinical Communication – Concentra therapists actively communicate with employers to convey the patient’s plan of care. Should a patient need modification or extended treatment, the therapist will consult with the referring physician and then inform the employer of the change in course of care.
