Q: How do I schedule flu shots for my employees?
A: The Account Representative at each medical center can provide the protocol, pricing, and required service agreement for your area.
Q: When will flu shots become available?
A: We are currently scheduling on-site flu vaccinations to begin October 2007.
Q: Will Concentra provide vaccinations for pregnant women?
A: Women who will be pregnant during influenza season are considered high risk for complications from influenza and should get the vaccine. Concentra will provide Inactivated Influenza vaccinations for pregnant women.
Q: What are the age requirements for providing vaccinations at On-Site clinics and for walk-in customers?
A: With parental consent, Concentra will provide vaccinations to children ages 9 years old and up. In most cases, age 18 is considered an adult; but this distinction varies among states.
Q: Are flu shots available at the Medical Center locations?
A: We are offering walk-in flu shots on a cash-only basis (currency or personal credit card.) Please contact the nearest center for pricing, protocol and any specific hours relative to giving flu shots in that center (to avoid long wait times.) The patient will need to present a photo ID (drivers license or passport.) The Location Finder will provide the address, phone number and directions to the nearest center.
Q: How is the vaccine administered?
A: The Concentra representative will inject the vaccination into the upper arm of the patient. We recommend that your employees wear clothing that allows easy access to this area.
