How We Serve You
- Advisor Consultation – The most appropriate Advisor reviews the case, analyzes the submitted clinical information, and applies the required and most applicable national and/or state practice guidelines.
- Confer – Depending upon the completion date and time, the Advisor will make at least one attempt to contact the requesting provider if:
- The case information is unclear
- The case is deficient of critical information
- The requested medical treatment does not meet medical necessity
- Concentra Physician Review is accredited by URAC, a health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry.
- Case Determination – Based on the facts of each particular case, the Advisor writes a determination referenced from the most current, relevant medical literature.
