Subject Matter Expertise: Occupational Medicine, Transportation, and MRO Issues
Dr. Wittels is the Medical Director of a Concentra Medical Center in Houston and is the Chair of the Medical Expert Panel on Transportation and Industry. He is also the Senior Medical Consultant for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and a Medical Consultant for the Federal Railroad Administration, and as a Medical Consultant for the U.S. Coast Guard. He also serves as a Medical Consultant for several companies.
Prior to joining Concentra in 2000, Dr. Wittels spent over 20 years on the faculty of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Wittels is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. He is Board certified in internal medicine and occupational medicine.
