Subject Matter Expertise: Urgent Care Medicine, Ambulatory Care, and Occupational Medicine
Dr. Martin serves Concentra as a Medical Director and as a member of the Medical Expert Panel on Urgent Care. Prior to joining Concentra in 2003, he worked for over 15 years in urgent care, ambulatory care, and occupational medicine for several providers. Most notably, he was C.E.O. and founder of MedStop, Inc., which grew into a large group of ambulatory care centers before being sold to HealthSouth. He also serves in senior management for The Georgia Research Alliance; Calorie & Purse Technologies, LLC; and Brain Saving Technologies, Inc.
Dr. Martin is a graduate of the Georgia Tech, the Medical College of Georgia, and Harvard Business School. While earning his M.B.A. at Harvard, he practiced urgent care medicine and helped develop business strategy for HealthStop, Inc.
