W. Tom Fogarty, MD

Tom Fogarty directs the delivery of medical care for the entire Concentra organization. He offers more than 26 years of experience in occupational medicine. Dr. Fogarty joined the organization in 1983 as a founding member of Concentra’s predecessor company. Within Concentra, he’s responsible for overseeing the medical practice, assuring evidence-based health care, and supervising more than 500 clinicians.
Dr. Fogarty has directed the development of information systems that have allowed Concentra to develop an outcomes-based practice. As part of the technology solution, he led Concentra in the electronic capture of clinical notes. The information systems have allowed Concentra to pursue clinical research through Concentra Occupational Health Research Institute, established in 2000.
Dr. Fogarty earned his BS degree in industrial engineering from the University of Houston and his MD from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He has post-doctoral training in the area of Family Practice.
